What it is
Recraft is a web studio and API for generating and editing images and vector graphics. Its own models, up to the V4 and V4.1 generations, produce photos, illustrations and editable vectors, and the studio adds inpainting, outpainting, background removal, a vector editor and saved styles for consistent sets. External models are available too, priced in credits.
It suits designers and marketers who need assets they can keep editing rather than flat images. The free plan renews credits daily, but its images are public, owned by Recraft and not licensed for commercial use. Paid plans start at $12 a month for 1,000 credits and give full ownership and commercial rights. API usage is billed separately in prepaid units.
