What it is
Magnific is the new name for Freepik since its 2026 rebrand, combining Freepik's stock library with the Magnific upscaler and a broad set of AI tools. In the browser you can generate and edit images, video, music, voice and sound effects with its own Magnific One image model and partner models such as Nano Banana, Kling, Seedance, Wan and Veo 3.1, then work on a shared canvas called Spaces. It also has an API, an MCP server and desktop and mobile apps, and paid plans include more than 250 million stock assets.
It suits creators who want generation, upscaling and stock in one bill. A limited free plan exists for personal use with attribution; Premium starts at $20 a month, with cheaper rates on annual billing. The older magnific.ai upscaler still runs as a legacy service.
