What it is
Notion AI is built into the Notion workspace rather than sold as a separate app. Notion Agent chats, drafts and edits pages, fills in databases and translates. AI Meeting Notes transcribes and summarizes meetings without a bot, and Enterprise Search, in beta, looks across connected apps such as Slack and GitHub. Custom Agents run repetitive tasks on their own and are billed in Notion credits, at $10 per 1,000 credits a month after a free trial.
Free and Plus plans include only a limited trial of the AI features. Full access comes with the Business plan, at $20 per member a month billed yearly ($24 monthly), or with Enterprise. That makes it best suited to teams already working in Notion rather than people who only want an AI writing tool.
Best for
- Teams that already keep docs, wikis and projects in Notion
- Turning meetings into notes without a bot joining
- Searching across Notion, Slack, GitHub and other connected tools
