What it is
ElevenLabs turns text into speech from a large library of voices, and lets you design new voices or clone your own: Instant Voice Cloning comes with the Starter plan and Professional Voice Cloning with Creator. The same account covers a voice changer, voice isolator, sound effects, music generation, speech to text transcription and a dubbing studio that translates video into other languages. Developers use the same models through the ElevenLabs API, and ElevenAgents builds conversational voice agents.
Usage is metered in credits. The free plan gives 10,000 credits a month, enough to try most tools. Starter costs $6 a month for 30,000 credits and Creator $22 for 121,000, with two months free on annual billing, and music gets commercial use on paid tiers. Long projects such as audiobooks use credits quickly, so heavy users tend to need the Pro plan or above.
