What it is
Duck.ai is DuckDuckGo's AI chat. It offers models from several companies, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral and Google, and DuckDuckGo anonymizes the chats before they reach the model providers. DuckDuckGo says it does not store your prompts or train on your data, and recent chats are saved only on your device. It works at duck.ai and inside the DuckDuckGo browser.
It suits people who want an assistant without giving up privacy. The free tier uses smaller models, with usage limits. Advanced models come with DuckDuckGo's subscriptions, which also bundle a VPN and identity protection: Plus is $9.99 a month and Pro, with the top models and higher limits, is $19.99.
