What it is
Dia is a desktop web browser for Mac and Windows made by The Browser Company of New York, the team behind Arc, which Atlassian acquired in 2025. Besides tabs, profiles, split view and a built-in ad blocker, it lets you ask questions about any page and chat with context from your tabs, documents and connected tools. Higher plans add a daily Morning Brief, meeting prep and follow-up, and drafted reports and decks.
The browser itself is free. AI features need a paid plan after a 14-day trial; the top plan, Better Days, costs $100 a month, and usage is metered in tasks with optional top-ups. Paid plans are rolling out to new Mac users first, while existing users and Windows keep their current access for now.
Best for
- Asking questions across open tabs and work documents
- Meeting prep, recaps and daily briefings in the browser
- Former Arc users looking for its successor
